A simpler browsing experience
This edition intentionally uses no advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics scripts. Fonts use your device’s installed font collection, so the page does not request fonts from Google Fonts.
Theme, sound and motion
The theme and motion buttons affect the current page without saving a new preference in local storage. Sound is off by default and plays only if you enable it. The website respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. Refreshing or navigating may reset your choices.
Existing browser storage
An earlier edition may have stored theme and motion preferences under keys named “vaelvio-theme” and “vaelvio-motion”. This edition does not read those values. You can remove older site storage using your browser’s privacy settings.
Security cookies and hosting
Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie was observed during our check on 25 October 2026. Cloudflare describes it as bot protection, expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. It can involve technical information and international processing. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. The exact hosting arrangements, necessary-cookie assessment and any transfer safeguards still require confirmation for the actual account. If features needing consent are introduced, they must not run before the required consent. Users must receive accurate information and suitable choices. A cookie banner is not a substitute for controlling what loads.
Future features
Analytics, embedded videos, chat tools and advertising can change the requirements. Before adding them we need to review their behaviour and the applicable rules, including relevant exemptions. This notice will need updating when the actual setup changes.
